Jen Walker

70’s born, Philadelphia resident, and funky chick who is not a professional photographer but wishes that I was one.

I like shadows in pictures. I like photos that most people wouldn’t be drawn to like blur and light streaks. I like mistakes. I like to share them and hope someone sees what I see. I prefer documentary style photography as opposed to portraits.

I’ve lived and loved and seen things all across the United States but prefer the Northeast. I cook, bake, photograph things, do collage, decorating, kitsch, snark, read, watch bizarre flicks, and am a bleeding heart Liberal who likes Politics and American History. I am also fat and okay with it. I love cats. I like obscure things. I have a dry, sarcastic, and filthy sense of humor. I hate sports and reality television. I am an Anglophile. I love Art Deco, Mod, and Mid-Century Modern design.

My photography will most likely showcase quite a lot of what I’ve mentioned.
