Dave Pellegrin

The man, the myth, the legend… Wait, who am I writing this about again? ME? Oh right. Ah hem…

Hi, my full name’s David Alexander Pellegrin but I go by Dave because for some reason, as an adult, going by “David” just sounds pretentious. No offense to all the adult Davids out there. I work for a book publishing company called “We’re Sinking Fast – Publishing, Inc.”. I mostly spam people all day with 3rd party advertisements and in house nausea that no one wants. But that’s not what I like to do with my time but it pays the bills – sorta. On the side I run my own little business called Hybrid Genius (and yes that name is real). While I’m wearing my Hybrid Genius helmet, I mostly design, develop, and build websites for a handful of clients. It’s fun and it’s what I like to do.  I went to “college” for a year and accrued 2 years of credits and pissed off a whole bunch of sophomores since I skipped all the freshman BS. I still had to draw naked people though *shudder*. So I’m perfectly, and artistically, qualified to design, I swear.

I have a 7 year old son and his name is Tyler.  You may recognize him from my first post. Yeah, he’s got a great poker face. I call that being “in the Wii zone” and sometimes I have to make sure he’s still breathing. A little video games here and there never hurt anyone I’m proof of that. HA HA HA boy I had you fooled. Our current favorite thing to do is read up about outer space and look at the stars at night. Though, now he seems to be into ghost hunting which he learned from a friend at school. He’s a good time.

I’m dating a very cool Librarian and her name is Christen aka “Inverted Librarian“. She’s the same age as me but she’ll say she’s older. In reality, she is but only by 3 months and I stopped saying “I’m such and such age and a half” when I was 8 but hey more power to her. God I hope she doesn’t read this… The Inverted Librarian works for a local lib branch in the young adult section and she’s pretty damn good at it too.
