Holiday Sixlets

I’ve missed a few days, but all weekend I was working on some new technology for the server (this one, the server that hosts frapto and other domains for www.gowtz.com). Today is a quickie pic. I found these sixlets at the store the other day, it’s the first time I have ever seen them in these colors.

Update 2009-11-16: Upon sampling the holiday colored sixlets, they have left me with a different impression than their standard counterparts. They seem to taste a bit more creamy than usual. Not necessarily a good thing, unless you are into creaminess, which I’m not. Maybe it’s all in my mind as a result of trying a white one first.

I never knew that they were called sixlets!

    • That’s what they are called here. I assume they have the same name in Toronto. Aren’t they produced in Toronto? When I was younger they always came in single tubes that one could buy for a few cents each so it wasn’t until the last couple of years (when they started to reappear) that I found out they had names.

Oh the memories that these little candies conjure up!!

    • I think they disappeared for years, at least down here in Virginia. I looked for them and could never find them. It was only in the past couple of years that they started to re-emerge, and I can mostly only find them around Halloween at the dollar stores.

JD and I are thoroughly addicted to them now. If they disappear again we may end up in rehab.

LOL! That is too funny! They bring back great memories for me…Like you though, I have only been able to find them for the last couple of years around a holiday such as Halloween, Christmas and Easter. My youngest kids (7 & 8) only discovered them this past Easter and fell in love with them too!
