Well, not my bags actually.   Today was the day my mom was scheduled to go home to Florida via Amtrak so after checking the status of her train on www.amtrak.com and seeing that everything is fine so she hopped in a cab and went down to 30th Street Station. Upon arrival she discovered that you cannot trust the Internet. She called me at about 10:15am and was ready to come back here which would have been fine but with another 12-18″ (at present forecasts) of snow coming tomorrow into Wednesday she could be stranded a lot longer.

While on the phone I verified that flights were indeed coming and going at Philadelphia International Airport and that Southwest had a flight out to Fort Myers, FL at 12:45pm that was showing as on time. While my mom hopped a cab from 30th Street Station to PHL I ordered her ticket and she arranged a pickup down in Florida. She got to PHL in plenty of time and emailed me from the gate. She is now on the ground down where its much warmer.
