I spotted this little lady eating near our back door.  (This picture was actually taken through the sliding glass door, so I’m surprised it came out as well as it did.)  This is a female red-bellied woodpecker.  I posted a picture of a male in late December, HERE.  They are frequent visitors to our yard and especially like eating suet and peanuts.
