Some people who have tried this and bailed have done so because they were worried that their lives were boring and that people would be disinterested in their postings.
For the first one concern, I just have to say “So What?”. It is your life and I figure that if you find it boring when you start to take pictures of it you will either change things so it is less boring, and if you think others may find it boring remember that life is not like TV or the Movies and moves at its own pace. As far as the second, take a look at some of the comments on here. The posts here with the most comments and activity are on such mundane topics as (admittedly awesome) refrigerator magnets and the cooking of kidneys.

My friend Jen Walker mentioned this to me during her birthday gathering. And I would just love to take part in this project.
Hey! We met at Jen’s gathering. Check your email for a few questions and I will get you set up.
Hi
I’ve been passed this link by a friend, who knows that I am planning to take a photo each day for 2010.
It would make it even more interesting if I could be part of this project.
(Hopefully my pictures wont be too boring – I get out and about a lot and I have done a basic photography course)
Let me know

I took a picture of telephone wires tonight. Exciting eh ?
It’d be awesome to have you two on board. I see a few have left – sadly !
I don’t mind boring pictures! I just like it when people update regularly
Welcome on-board whoever makes it on-board!
/it is my offal he is talking about lol
I’m a friend of jen’s and would love to be involved… Take way too many pictures documenting my life around the SF Bay area, whether Oakland, SF, Berkeley or all the other towns…
A friend had sent me to this website. This looks like fun and will help me start up my amateur photography career. If you’re still looking for participants, please feel free to email me with some additional details. Thanks.
I’ve mostly been shooting film but finally got my leica d-lux4 fixed up and am planning to shoot daily. I love shooting on plastic cameras, iphones, and d-slrs equally … it’s all about perspective.
i’m definitely a lomo cadet -> you can see some of my stuff here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ghostrocket/popular-interesting/
i absolutely love this idea. i don’t have a fancy camera or anything – just an iphone and a cheap digital. so i can’t offer you artsy photos (not without using tilt shift). i like to take pictures of my kid, people at the grocery store, and strangers on the subway without their permission. and then i spend the rest of the day trying to figure out what that person is like… what is their name? what to do they do? where are they going / coming from?
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!
If you’re looking for people, I’m down. I also take better shots than Mike.
