I love this shoes and have about worn them out.  I still believe I have time before I need to throw them out.

This is the old place I something shoot from our office window (the one in the center next to the air conditioner). The place seems too small to have ever been an automobile garage given that it was already in extreme disrepair by the time compact cars were common. The door on the side (note the missing awning) faces our neighbor behind him but he’s as afraid do anything with it as anyone else.

I’m not exactly sure how old these shoes are.  In 2001 I was in a summer ballet program and I tore the shank out of this pair of pointe shoes to make them more slipper-like.  At that time, the shoes were already old and worn.  They may be as many as 15 years old.

I’ve used Staedtler Mars Plastic erasers since I was a kid. Since they were so good (and waaay better than those pink erasers you get at school), my mom would always make sure I had one of these in my pencil case.

They use these all over the Italian Market to keep warm on cold days.
