Back on the school bus

Back on the school bus

As a kid, I walked to school; as a teacher I became used to school buses while going on field trips; now as a librarian I never get to go on a school bus any more. Today I took a trip on a school bus. I don’t miss them at all.

Trompe-l’Œil, Underground

Trompe-l’Œil, Underground

This is a piece of trompe-l’œil artwork done by Panya Clark Espinal in the TTC’s Bayview subway station on the Sheppard line. Cats…from..SPAAAACE

Cats…from..SPAAAACE

Spotted this headline on a tabloid cover at a drugstore.  Of all the creatures in the world, the idea of cats being from outer space seems the most plausible.
