Finally took the camera further than my garden, although I still thought I would trip, fall and break it several times, heh. I went birdwatching with the dad, saw a Short-eared and Long-eared owl at two different places.

Today the kid and I made our own gummy candies, using a ridiculously easy recipe that involved 3 parts gelatin to 1 part Jell-O, with a little bit of water. Total time from start to eating: about a half hour.
In the picture you can see the some of the highrises of St. James Town, one of the poorer neighbourhoods in Toronto. It is also, by far, the densest neighbourhood in Canada, with a population density of 42,000 persons/sq. km (170 persons/acre).
