It is perhaps because of the torturous experience I had as an undergrad with exams that I now experience a sense of schadenfreude watching others slaving away in study carrels in the library or bent over scribbling on their exam. I know that makes me sound creepy, but it’s true!

In front of my office is a huge holly shrub. Last year it was all but covered with berries, but for some reason this year there are just a few tiny clusters of them.
This is the lovely family of bears who live in our supermarket mall during Christmas. I seriously want to kidnap them so I can cuddle with their furriness at home.
It’s just insane.
After ballet class tonight, I snapped a photo of the Christmas tree in the studio. If you look very closely, you can see Jack, the resident cat. He watched the train go round and round for several minutes before settling in his cozy spot beneath the tree.
During today’s manic cleaning episode I managed to at least step outside and snap this shot, so from pinkish to bluish.
