Remember these?

Remember these?

I was rummaging around the house and I found a CD caddy!  I have no idea why we have it, because as far as I know, we never owned a Macintosh (or any other computer for that matter) that needed a caddy.

I’ll keep it, because I’m sure in 20 years, no one would remember what these were used for.

Alex Math

Alex Math

In his Kindergarten class they do a thing with each of the kids names called “Name Math” each kid draws a picture of the child whose day it is and has to write the kids name, then they do a sheet with how many letters are in their name, how many pets, brothers and sisters they have and what there favorite number is and then the get to bring a book home of it all. This is a picture of Alex showing his Dad all the pictures that the kids drew for him on “Alexander Math Day” Incase you wanted to know he has 9 letters in his name, no sisters or brothers, two cats and his favorite number is 106.

NYC Skyline From Afar

NYC Skyline From Afar

As I was leaving orientation I decided that I should at least take one photo of the NYC skyline.  Although I was just a couple of miles from the city (a $3 bus ride), I decided that I really had no reason to actually go to the city.  I was happy with my lack of temptation, as it means that I’ve successfully ingrained the concept into my head that “there is no better than here”.

Frapto 20 – Last Flowers

Frapto 20 – Last Flowers

A selection of the last of the dying flowers in the jungle/garden. The light was fading when I headed outside and that seemed to enhance the shadows/contrasts/whatevers :)
