The reason for my late posts is because I’ve been studying for my final exam in Supramolecular Chemistry. It will probably be my final final exam in my academic career, but knowing that still doesn’t motivate me to study!
I also have to read through several proposals for a committee I’m serving on…sigh. Why are there only 24 hours in a day?
This is where I ate dinner tonight. The food was very good, and I brought back a bunch of leftovers. I like this picture especially because you can see the owner through the window, carefully watching what I am doing. Shortly after I took this photo he walked outside to take a closer look. I then went in and had a great meal and some good conversation with the fellow.
We walked down 11th Street to meet some new friends for Happy Hour at the Devil’s Den this evening. Someone still had their Halloween (maybe) display up in the window so I snapped a picture.

This time of year, I always fill the house with candles, usually scented ones. Much to the horror of the mum, as she hates the smell of most of them, hehe.
This is one of the little houses that we have collected from our trips to Puerto Rico. Every time we go, we make it a point to pick up a couple of these. I particularly like the detail of this one, which we got in April, when we were there last.
